| “Pefect size and the location was absolutely perfect. It is very close to where we were hiking and made a great base for the wekeend. The beds were very comfortable and the temerature inside was easy to maintain inside despite it being unseasonably cold outside. The dining area had plenty of space to accomodate 5 people, and the kitchen was big enough to cook proper meals. Additionaly, the view was fantastic!“ |
“We booked this Chalet for a walking weekend and we were really happy with the accommodation. The location ensures a super view from the living room and bedrooms. It is clean, spacious and warm (the wood burning stove is a lovely feature) and is very well equipped for a self catering break. The bathroom is new and it has a really good shower. Bath towels are not provided but all other linen is. The soft, snuggly blankets were a great addition to the beds. There are plenty of walking tracks right up the mountain and it goes without saying the views are spectacular. This is a lovely part of the world and Chalet Maria adds to the rustic nature of the area. Given the opportunity, I would definitely stay in Chalet Maria again.“ |
| “Visited just after christmas and loved the chalet - there was much more room than expected (having been on previous chalet holidays) and having a coffee in the mornings gazing out to those snow capped mountains was a beautiful start to the day. Having been many times to France, I liked this area as it was much more traditional. The rooms were clean and the owners were easy and friendly to deal with. Good skiing and our daughter found the local ski school very friendly and they spoke good English. Local Restaurants were good - take a phrase book to some of the more traditional ones just to help out if you need to.“ |
