Chalet Maria is a traditional Austrian mountain chalet situated in the small hamlet of Hintermoos between the town of Maria Alm and the village of Hinterthal, just one hours drive from Salzburg. Located at an altitude of 1,000m on the Aberg-Langeck mountain, which forms part of the Hochkonig ski area, it commands stunning views of the surrounding valley. Chalet Maria is ideal for a winter skiing holiday, offering guests ski in/ski out access to the slopes.

The accomodation is perfect for families or groups from 4-9 people, as it is split into two almost identical halves, both with their own entrance. For larger groups that want to rent both sides there is a shared first floor balcony allowing easy access to your friends, yet still maintaining seperation for a little you time !

The Hochkonig ski area is impressive with a great snow record, it has over 150km of trails,       39 lifts and almost as many mountain restaurants. However it still remains undiscovered by all the tour operators, leaving you & us our own winter play ground, with no lift queues !
